Debriefing in a helpful way about our work, having a sounding board as we wrestle with life’s questions, and being deeply listened to should be common experiences. So many of us, though, are searching for someone to walk alongside us who is skilled in these areas. I love listening to people, asking thoughtful questions, sharing insights and resources, and being a companion on life’s journey. Find out what having a relationship with a coach can be like.

I believe that life is beautiful, sometimes messy, best done in community, and always full of grace.
We all have the capacity to notice, tap into, cultivate, and share that grace with those who matter to us.
With the gifts of my training and a unique skill set, I find great joy in helping to unleash that capacity in other people, in groups, and in organisations.
I believe that we can learn from tradition without getting stuck in what no longer serves people.
We have been making meaning, connecting with one another, and working out how to best be human for millennia.
There is a lot of wisdom in our many traditions that can be unbundled from them, when needed. Doing so with sensitivity, love, and an ability to translate across the centuries is one of my specialties.
I take an open, creative, and contemporary approach.
Inclusion, warmth, hospitality, groundedness, genuine love, and joy are my hallmarks and my deepest values.
All of us belong, and we have so much to learn from one another. I can’t wait to learn from you as we get to know one another’s stories.

Amanda was our celebrant for our wedding, but she was so much more than that! From our first meeting over coffee she opened our minds to what our ceremony could be, she went above and beyond to ensure that what we included in our ceremony was special, meaningful and important to us - and that was the real beauty of Amanda. She did research on traditions from my parents background, offered up suggestions, and made the whole process an exciting and calm one at the same time.
She was so patient with us when we hadn’t yet made decisions on things, and such a professional at keeping us on track. We loved her approach at looking at traditional and non-traditional aspects of a wedding - and she was able to seamlessly blend it all together on the day. So many of our guests commented on how great and connected they felt in our ceremony - which is what we wanted.
We are so thankful that Amanda was part of our journey toward marriage, and that she was there to wed us on the day! She held our hands during the whole process, and made us feel so safe. We love you Amanda, this was special! We highly recommend Graced Moments for anyone getting married!

Amanda guided us through a private housewarming ritual. It’s something we’ve been wanting to do since we moved in, but were a little shy/unsure of how to do it properly! From the start, Amanda wanted to make sure it was all about us, and so she met with us first to get a feel of what this meant to us. She was warm, encouraging and sincere throughout the whole process. We both feel very much the warmth of this place we now call home, something we couldn’t have felt without her help.

Originally from the United States, I am a lot of things:
woman (she/her), partner, daughter, sister, friend, educator, pastoral presence, active community member, life-long learner… and aren’t we all just human when we get down to it? Gorgeous, complicated, a bit messy around the edges sometimes, and fundamentally good? I think so.
With rich training and a decade of experience as a community leader, teacher, formator, innovator, team manager, facilitator, event planner, and mentor, I love meeting wonderful people, walking alongside them, and listening to their stories.
I’ve always been someone who is able to hold space, craft ritual, speak the language of symbol, gather others in, and create transformative experiences.
I love to help teams, groups, and organisations tap their potential and bring new layers of joy, belonging, and meaning to their shared life. Few things give me as much joy as elevating the wisdom in the room, sharing the best practices that I’ve encountered in my travels, and guiding the process of imagining what might be.
I am grateful that throughout my journey I have encountered generous people who made the effort to walk alongside me. People who listened, acted as a sounding board, shared from the well of their experiences, and offered another perspective. The experience has been a source of joy and a gift for my ongoing growth and development. Equally as enjoyable for me is the process of walking alongside others.
